The version from Forever Plaid is in my head, and I love it because the tune is so perky and upbeat while the lyrics are so depressing! Fabulous!
It got in my head because I am memorizing descending motor pathways.
To help me remember that the corticospinal tract decussates at the pyramid-shaped junction of the medulla and spinal cord, I noted that “cortico” sounds like “corazon” (corazon corazon corazon corazon). A heart is kind of shaped like an upside-down pyramid. Nothing to it!
